The Future of American Cities: Opportunities and Challenges.
On Wednesday November, 9th at 7:30 p.m., The Johns Hopkins University Center for Social Concern and Tribe, Inc.will sponsor a non-partisan panel discussion entitled The Future of American Cities: Opportunities, and Challenges. Moderated by local radio personality Anthony McCarthy and encompassing a broad spectrum of ideological perspectives, this program will examine the future of America’s urban agenda and its place in our emerging multicultural democracy. Issues to be discussed will include reduced immigration and diversity, population decline, African American migration to the suburbs, and the impact of America’s beleaguered economy.
